I’ve been inspired by other food blogs to create one of my own.  My goal is to post my experiences in the kitchen (mine, my beau’s, my mom’s, my sisters).  I enjoy cooking and baking from recipes.  But when it comes to cooking or baking, I’m just like Monica Gellar on Friends.  Unfortunately I’m not a chef – unable to create my own recipes, I need a recipe to follow and when I follow it – it’s to the T.  And it usually takes me a long time to get things done.  Just ask my family or friends!

I use recipes from the following sources:

  • Bon Appetite Magazine
  • Epicurious.com
  • The Joy of Cooking
  • Baking From My Home to Yours
  • Otoki Senshin Buddhist Temple Cook Book

And recently I’ve been trying recipes from the Foodgawker website – the pictures are really inviting!

  3. Greetings from Malaysia!

Stumbled upon your site and love it! I’ve just bought 2 baking books and in the process of reading it. I would like to venture into the land of baking soon and hope I can learn more from your site!
